Nose Surgery
Rhinoplasty is our most common procedure. It is most challenging for the physician and rewarding for the patient. Restoring function while improving the appearance is an attainable goal for most individuals. Rhinoplasty carries a high rate of patient satisfaction and success in any age group.
Persons seeking rhinoplasty are often bothered by a hump or bump on the nose, crookedness from development or previous trauma, or an imbalance of the tip of the nose. The abnormalities are generally corrected through small hidden incisions. Special instruments are used to modify the bone, cartilage, and soft tissue. The procedure can be done under twilight or general anesthesia. The recovery time is much faster then one would expect and nasal packing is almost never used.
