Elevate Your Smile: Permanent Lip Lift Surgery in California’s Central Valley

Restore facial harmony and youthful definition with a permanent, natural-looking lip lift.
If you are tired of temporary dermal fillers or want to fix a long space between your nose and upper lip, a surgical Lip Lift offers a beautiful, permanent solution. Serving patients across the Central Valley—including Modesto, Modesto, Stockton, Fresno—William Anderson, MD specializes in precise, facial rejuvenation techniques that enhance your natural smile.

What is a Lip Lift?

Unlike temporary lip fillers that only add volume, a surgical lip lift physically lifts the upper lip tissue by removing a tiny strip of skin right under the nose. This shortens the “philtrum” (the space between your nose and mouth), rolls the pink part of your lip outward, and exposes more of your upper teeth for a youthful, resting smile.
Key Benefits
  • Permanent Results: Eliminate the ongoing cost and maintenance of fillers.
  • Enhanced Tooth Show: Naturally reveals your upper teeth when your mouth is relaxed.
  • Defined Cupid’s Bow: Sharpens the vermilion border and lip definition.
  • Anti-Aging Effect: Corrects the structural elongation of the upper lip that happens as we age.
  • No “Duck Lips”: Creates vertical height and roll-out, avoiding unnatural horizontal bulk.

Lip Lift Techniques We Offer

Our Central Valley Turlock office will tailor every procedure to match your unique facial anatomy and aesthetic goals:
  • Subnasal “Bullhorn” Lip Lift: The most common approach. A tiny, bullhorn-shaped incision is hidden right in the natural crease under your nostrils to lift the entire upper lip.
  • Corner Lip Lift: Ideal for patients with a permanent “frown” or downturned mouth corners.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)

Will I have a noticeable scar?
When performed by an expert facial surgeon, the incision is placed precisely within the natural shadow and curve beneath your nose, making it virtually imperceptible once fully healed.
Can I combine a lip lift with other facial procedures?
Yes. Many of our Central Valley patients combine a lip lift with dermal fillers for added volume, laser skin resurfacing, or a mini facelift for comprehensive facial rejuvenation.
Am I a good candidate?
Ideal candidates are healthy non-smokers who have a long distance between the nose and upper lip, or those who feel their upper teeth are completely hidden when speaking or smiling.
